The KCE NY 1 facility is a 20 megawatt utility-scale battery storage project, located at the Luther Forest Technology Campus in Saratoga County, New York. The project is the largest lithium-ion battery storage project in New York State and supports Governor Cuomo’s commitment for the state to reach 1,500 megawatts of energy storage by 2025. RAE provided initial planning, interconnection support, conceptual design, RFP support, detailed design of the substation interconnection, owners engineer services for the battery facility, testing support and technical project management services in order to bring this leading edge project a reality.
